They're Los Angeles cops who alternate between punching and making headlines during the Showdown in Little Tokyo. Dolph Lundgren's hero is a muscular American samurai versed in Eastern traditions. Brandon Lee's character is a "hillbilly bumpkin" who is in for a lot of fights. The two of them will have a tough time in the war against the Japanese drug mafia of Los Angeles.
