Sirin

Sanela, a Montenegrin of Muslim background who left the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s after her father was killed, returns to the Balkans after twenty years. Having erased her culture to become a Westerner, she faces a past that feels like a foreign land. She soon realizes that the person who left is not the same as the one who returns.
