Slap Shot

Gray-haired Reggie Dunlop is the coach and captain of a second-rate hockey team. The days of victories are behind us, defeat follows defeat, and Reggie's team proudly ranks last in the lowest league. To revive the interest of fans, the Hanson brothers are taken to the team: three inhibited scumbags who prefer to play “hard” hockey. The “hard” hockey of the Hanson brothers involves ruthless physical violence against the opponent. The “fighting fervour” of the barbarian brothers is happily picked up by the cunning veteran Reggie, who gradually turns his unfortunate team into a gang of ferocious brawlers and uncontrollable hooligans.
