Stargate SG-1

Dr. Daniel Jackson, using ancient technology, finds the coordinates of the lost city of Atlantis, and Dr. Elizabeth Weir assembles an international expedition to explore it. The only problem is that it is in another galaxy - the Pegasus galaxy. But traveling even between galaxies through stargates requires a lot of energy - as much as only the MNT can produce. But there is only one such energy source on Earth. Thus, it is initially assumed that if there is no other MNT in Atlantis, then it will be a one-way trip.
