Tchaikovsky's Wife

Antonina Milyukova is a bright young aristocrat in 19th-century Russia whose only obsession is to marry the composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky. After he accepts the union, he blames her for his misfortunes and attempts to discard her in brutal ways. Consumed by love, Antonina endures humiliation and disgrace, slowly descending into madness.
