Young provincial Domenica Schulzer comes to Rome, where she gets a job as an “au pair” in the Chiochetti family. Her owners, wealthy bourgeois, are pathologically greedy and immediately begin to offer the services of their maid to all their neighbors, who happily host the naive girl.
