Vadik didn’t even realize that, wanting to make the holiday more fun, he would end up in Purgatory, where he would appear before the Heavenly Office and will account for his entire short but eventful life. How can you prove to the gods that you are good if they have your every move recorded? Vadik tries to remember at least something good about himself, but his memory always fails him. On his eighth birthday, he managed to get drunk, had an orgy in the army, and in the 90s he became such a specific businessman that now it is absolutely impossible for him to fit into the concept of heaven. However, there is a positive point: he made God laugh with his life, which means that all is not lost.
