The Botanist's Daughter

This is a love story of two girls in China at a time when homosexuality was severely persecuted by law. The main character, Li Ming, an orphan, arrives for an internship with a famous Chinese botanist. The relationship between Li Ming and An, the scientist's daughter, forms the basis of the plot of this film.
