The Doctor's Oath

Tamara Lavrova is an experienced ambulance doctor. She is happily married and raising her daughter from her first marriage, Dasha. But suddenly, she discovers her husband is cheating on her. Alexey leaves for his mistress, but due to a lack of money, he takes out a loan at exorbitant interest rates and runs away with the cash. Thus, all the problems fall on his legal wife, Tamara. Alexey's creditors claim the apartment, and Tamara and her daughter risk being left on the street. She meets with the owner of the loan office, a notorious crime boss named Burov, who offers her a way to work off the debt by providing medical assistance to his people.
