The Endless Trench

Newlyweds Ihinyo and Rosa face the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, which poses a threat to Ihinyo's life. He is forced to hide in his house for fear of being shot by the Francoists. With the help of his wife, Ihinyo decides to use a hole dug in his own house as a shelter. The fear of potential retribution and the love they feel for each other condemn the couple to a 30-year sentence.
