The Forest

Danila is sixteen. Katya is twice as old. He spends hours secretly watching her from an old log house on the outskirts of the forest. He doesn’t even have the thought of trying to be with her. Until Danila’s father appears on Katya’s doorstep with a desire to escape into her arms from the problems that have piled up. Father and son are drawn into the whirlpool of events, where people living on the same land are divided into friends and foes. The strong are increasingly not considered and despise the weak, pushing common life towards disaster.
