The Gypsy

A young village woman, Klavdiya Pukhlyakova, finds a gypsy boy near a tent crushed by tanks. Taking pity on the child, she takes him home and raises him as her own son. 17 years pass. One day, a gypsy named Budulai, a lonely man who has experienced a lot, appears in the village. He very quickly wins the sympathy of Pukhlyakova’s adopted son.
