The Mazurka of the Baron, the Saint and the Early Fig Tree

Baron Anteo Pellacani returns to the family estate to claim his inheritance. In the garden adjacent to the old mansion grows a fig tree which, according to legend, possesses miraculous properties. Moreover, some have even managed to see the Virgin Mary after touching the tree. But the Baron has his own memories: at a young age, he fell from this very magical tree and injured his leg so badly that he remained lame for life. And now he must face the hated tree once again...
