After winning the Miss Happy beauty contest, Lena begins to be pursued by a maniac. He sends her threatening letters, calls her, attacks her on a dark street and rapes the girl. The police shrug their shoulders. Lena moves to another city, but the ghosts of her past continue to haunt her. The girl has to face her fear and defeat it.
