The Sinner

One beautiful sunny day, a young woman, Cora Tannetti, in a fit of inexplicable rage, inflicts several fatal stabbings on a stranger. The crime was committed in front of an understanding spouse, to the death of a frightened son and dozens of shocked vacationers. Everyone knows who did it, but no one understands why, including Cora. Detective Harry Ambrose begins a search for motives, guided by which Cora used a knife for fruit for the wrong purpose. He is ready to spend with the criminal as much time as he wants, to get into the most secret corners of her soul and to pull out all the secrets, just to understand why a nice and law-abiding woman committed a bloody crime.
