The Underground Railroad

Black slave Cora works on a cotton plantation in Virginia. Backbreaking work, inhuman cruelty of both the owners and brothers and sisters in misfortune, ready to do anything for the sake of survival, push Cora to a desperate step, and she runs away with the recently arrived Caesar. It is from him that she learns about the underground railroad that leads to freedom. But a ruthless hunter for fugitive slaves is already following in their footsteps.
