The Violent Kind

When a 75-year-old sheriff is killed, he gets a chance at a new life. Scientists return him to the world of the living - he becomes a kind of version of Frankenstein, given superpower and restored to youth. Now the main character of this story has to figure out why and who exactly killed him.
