The Weight of Water

When photographer Jean arrives on an island off the coast of New Hampshire to investigate a century-old crime, a tragic clash of past and present ensues. As Jean delves into the details of the case, an explosion of passion that led to the deaths of two women, she finds herself in emotionally dangerous territory. The film bizarrely intertwines two plots: the dramatic relationship of the two couples and the events of a century ago.
