The White List

Spring 2015. The Investigative Committee sends two employees to a small town near Moscow: the veteran Korotkov, who is preparing to retire, and the young careerist Lazarev. Formally, their task is to investigate the suicide of a local schoolgirl, which the whole country learned about thanks to a newspaper article. In fact, the heroes are expected to imitate the activity until the public and authorities lose interest in the topic.
