They Never Forget

The main character works in a company that buys up debt obligations on the cheap, and then harshly extracts the full amount from the debtors. His wife and child leave Paris for a few days and are waiting for him on Friday, and that same evening he sits down with a very beautiful girl in a cafe and makes an acquaintance with her. She ends up at his house, but behaves strangely - she broke something and left a lot of traces behind her. The wife and child return, and soon, following an advertisement, the family hires a babysitter. This nanny turns out to be a new acquaintance of the head of the family. He tries to drive her away, but his wife does not allow this.
