About the movie
Young Marilyn dreams of Hollywood and leading roles with famous directors. She literally besieges one of them, Billy Wilder, with her letters. However, the famous director remains deaf to the girl's requests, and she has to work as a buffet girl on a train. But it is on the train that she meets Petr, who dreams of becoming a cinematographer. A mutual feeling arises between them. Helping each other, the protagonists do not give up on their aspirations...
