Turkish Saddle

Quiet and inconspicuous Ilyich is a former “toptun”, an experienced surveillance agent in the KGB, then the FSB. Now he is retired. Out of loneliness, he continues to follow those who awaken his interest and curiosity. One day, new neighbors move into his house - a young married couple, musicians, and Ilyich’s life unexpectedly changes. He falls in love. First, into the voice singing divine arias, and then into the beautiful neighbor herself. Obeying an irresistible desire, the hero begins to secretly follow the object of his passion, and finds himself in a completely new, unknown world. The former agent does not yet suspect that the consequences of this path will be shocking and irreparable.
