Violent Rome

Police Commissioner Betty treats every new investigation as her own personal matter. Over many years of work in the police, he developed a firm belief that crime can be defeated by its own methods - deception and cruelty. The authorities value Betty as an incorruptible guardian of the law, but cannot come to terms with the fact that he constantly violates the necessary procedures. When the commissioner, one day unable to control his righteous anger, empties a clip into a notorious murderer, he is dismissed for exceeding his official authority.
