Vivarium

Young primary school teacher Gemma and handyman Tom decide to move in together and go to a real estate agency, where they are greeted by a very strange employee. He takes them to a newly built residential area in the suburbs, shows them to house number 9, and then disappears. The couple first tries to get out, but soon realizes with horror that they are stuck in this terribly sterile maze of identical buildings, and all roads lead them to house number 9. In desperation, they even set the house on fire, but the next day they find it brand new, and also find a box with a baby and a note: “Raise a child, get freedom.”
