Maria Fuentes works as an attorney at a prestigious law firm and has a promising future. Her father is a famous judge, her mother comes from a very rich and respectable family. Maria accidentally finds out that she is not their own daughter and tries to find out her origins. In her search for the truth, she discovers that her adoptive family not only stole her after birth, but that they belong to a large mafia network involved in child trafficking.
