Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni played three roles here in three comedic short stories about how Italian women achieve what they want with the help of their sexual attractiveness. Lauren looks very erotic, playing: the wife of an unemployed man, forced to sell smuggled cigarettes and give birth to children one after another, so that the bailiffs do not seize the property; a selfish society lady throwing her lover out of a car because of nonsense; a girl of easy virtue who takes a vow of chastity for a whole week at the moment when the lover who has come to her is ready to strangle her in a fit of passion. In all these stories, the unfortunate hero Marcello Mastroianni gives in to the animal energy of his passion.
