Once Upon a Time

The events of the film take place in a village near Rzhev. Two men, the last residents of the village - widower Viktorovich and Afghan war veteran Beard - receive a company of unexpected Moscow guests. The ideological inspirer of the trip, Isolde, wants on this trip to introduce her adult son to a father whom he does not know. Suddenly, Beard's bloodline Samad joins the action... The paths of the film's heroes are intertwined at one timeless point, on the banks of a powerful river, where each of the film's heroes is trying to survive the blow, after which life in the same quality is no longer possible.
