Zoya's Love

The main character of the film, Zoya, lives in a provincial town far from Moscow. She is 25 years old, does not take care of herself and dresses out of date. Her dream is to sing on the big stage, but for now she has to be content with only benefit performances at the store counter, where a few customers act as listeners and fans. One day, a famous singer, Victoria, comes to the city on tour. Having quarreled with her director, the singer cancels her concerts and returns to Moscow. By chance, the director meets Zoya, who turns out to be exactly like Victoria, and invites her to perform at the concert instead of the runaway star. And Zoya agrees - she always wanted to sing. In addition, perhaps this is how Zoya will be able to attract the attention of police captain Stepan, with whom she has long been secretly in love.
