The Deerslayer

A promising metropolitan investigator, Oleg Khlebnikov, kills a criminal during his arrest. Oleg is sure that scoundrels should be punished not only by the court. The deceased turns out to be a media person, and in order to hush up the scandal, his death is called an accident, and Khlebnikov is sent to the taiga city of Vakhta to sit out and soon return to Moscow. But it won’t be a quiet business trip. Before Khlebnikov’s appearance in the city, they tried not to particularly notice that from time to time outcasts and scoundrels disappear here, whom they don’t seem to feel sorry for. And although a maniac always leaves St. John's wort flowers at the crime scene, no one was able or willing to bring these cases together. Khlebnikov will have to figure out who is behind this and decide whose side he is on.
