The fascinating story begins in the 2000s, when the Nazarov family, hoping for a better life, moves from a provincial town to Moscow. Here, the brothers' father invests all his savings in his own business and opens a store with appliances in a large market. It would seem that a new life begins to improve, but the pavilion is being robbed. As a result, the head of the family is found hanged, and his wife goes crazy, unable to survive the tragedy. Realizing that the robbery is not an accident, the brothers decide to avenge their parents, but choose the opposite methods. Ivan, played by Alexei Chadov, decides to infiltrate the underworld, find all those responsible for the death of his father, and gradually destroy them. His brother Alexander plans to become a lawyer to fight crime and injustice through the law. It is not only the ways of achieving the goal that bred brothers on different sides of the barricades: Ivan and Alexander become rivals, falling in love with the same women, as well as experiencing the betrayals of friends and allies. However, in the most difficult and decisive moments, they can only rely on each other.
