About the movie
Franco Colombo inherits a meat company from his uncle who suddenly died. But this enterprise is on the verge of bankruptcy, and an urgent government order is required to save it. The lawyer who handled the affairs of the deceased is ready to provide Franco with this order: all that is required is to give a bribe to an official in the Ministry of Trade. Columbo scrapes out all the cash, gets on a plane and goes to Rome. At the airport, an absent-minded provincial confuses a taxi and gets into the car of Monnezza, who has just been released from prison. After the sociable “taxi driver”, who took on the duties of a guide for the provincial, introduced Franco to all his relatives and friends, the money in the suitcase mysteriously turned into toilet paper. However, Monnezza assures his new friend that he has absolutely nothing to do with it. And to confirm his innocence, he is ready to help find the missing money.
