Colonel Boris Semin is a legend of the Moscow criminal investigation. An experienced detective who solved the most difficult cases. A man of conscience, for whom the honor of uniform is more important than rank, money and titles. He does not tolerate corruption, meanness and sloppiness. Semin is sure that the criminal should be in prison, and is ready to do everything possible for this. In the late 60s Boris with two comrades came to the service in the MUR. They were brilliant young operatives, true knights without fear or reproach. But fate treated them cruelly: one partner was killed, the second disappeared without a trace. Semin was left alone. Times have changed and a difficult time has come for him. Career was not set, too Semin was uncompromising, straightforward and tough. He was feared like fire by criminals and high police officers. It was at this point that Semin had a new team. People who are ready to continue his work with dignity and be together until the end. Those to whom Semin can convey his principles, experience and knowledge. The department for the investigation of especially dangerous crimes under the leadership of Boris Semin deals with the most complex and intricate cases. The team will have to neutralize a gang selling human organs, track down a dangerous maniac named Surgeon, solve the murder of a famous lawyer, investigate the complicated case of kidnapping the wife of a large businessman and prevent a criminal plan to seize the plant
