The main character is a successful professor of surgery named Andreas Vitori, who has too many mistresses who are greedy for money. Among these are two half-sisters - Evelyn and Daniela. The successful doctor turned both girls away, but Daniela does not give up hope of getting into bed with him again. One night she sneaks into the doctor's apartment and meets him naked. The angry doctor pushes Daniela, the girl falls straight onto an iron sculpture - a flower with petals - and dies. Having gotten rid of the corpse, Andreas enters into a fight with Evelina, who has already reported to the police and is trying to do everything possible to prove the professor’s guilt.
