Eighty-year-old Eva lives with her grandson in a mountainous Georgian village. She remembers well the pre-war times, when fellow villagers did not voluntarily leave this land. Nobody came back. The boy's mother comes to the village and wants to take him to the city. But he remains with his grandmother, who believes that the village where their ancestors lived will be revived.
