All Edina and Patsy do is scratch their tongues and brag about feats, many of which are not entirely plausible. But if you don't lie, you can't tell a beautiful story. In the sixties, they caught glitches, in the seventies they cut in heels and danced disco, in the eighties they pretended to be punks and pierced everything that had not yet been punctured. They always cleaned up! The men lay stacked, rolling their eyes! Only sometimes bragging stories are mixed with spasms in the throat and tears in the voice. But that’s just to make me laugh again.
