About the movie
In the late 70s, a friendly and happy Gromov family lives in the mining village of Kamenka: Maria, Fedor and their children - Nastya, Sasha, Sava and little Nikitka. Fedor works in a mine, Maria is a teacher. A measured life is full of everyday worries, anxieties, small sorrows and joys. No matter what happens, there is always an unshakable stronghold - family, family relationships that warm you with warmth and do not allow you to despair even in the most difficult situation. They even envy the Gromovs a little, because everything is so good with them: they have a household, and children, and mutual understanding, and mutual assistance - just an ideal family. But soon a tragedy occurs: the father dies, and the mother and children are forced to leave the village and look for a place where they can start a new life...
