Japan, early 1980s. An employee of a trading company returns home early and finds his wife with her lover. Out of grief, he goes to a bar, where he meets a seller of sex tapes. Suddenly the man realizes that erotic goods, magazines in particular, are selling well, and, having already become proficient in selling English encyclopedias, decides to change his field of activity.
