About the movie
The story of the dizzying rise of a simple English peasant woman from a village shepherdess to the wife of a lord. Emma, the future Lady Hamilton, comes to London to work as a model for the famous artist George Romney. While living in the artist's house, the girl learns etiquette and receives an education. After going through a thorny path, the heroine becomes the wife of Lord Hamilton and friend of the Queen of Italy.
