Sex scene with Paget Brewster(1:02)
About the movie
Dr. Huff's real name is Craig Huffstodt. He's not a diagnostician like House - he's a psychotherapist in private practice in Los Angeles. Huff is a good person and truly strives to be the best doctor he can be. And for the time being he succeeds. But one day tragedy occurs in Huff's office. Fifteen-year-old Sam, shortly before a psychotherapy session, following the advice of Dr. Huff, admits to his parents that he is gay. His parents don't believe him and start a scandal. And the father utters the fatal phrase: “It would be better if you died!” Immediately after this, Sam goes to his psychotherapist and in the middle of the conversation, unexpectedly for Dr. Huff, he takes a gun out of his bag and shoots himself... After what happened, the doctor’s life changes. He deeply experiences what happened and begins to observe the characters and actions of the people around him, so to speak, from the point of view of Eternity. "Life. What is it and how to live it? Sometimes you wake up in the middle of life and look back with a feeling of wonder and sadness. I suddenly felt useless, as if I had been sleeping for 42 years, and suddenly I woke up - and I didn’t like what I saw...”, Dr. Huff says to himself. In addition to his own life, he is trying to understand the relationships of his family: his beautiful wife Beth, his son Bird, his mother Izzie, his crazy younger brother Teddy, as well as the life of his friend and lawyer, and perhaps no less brilliant psychologist, merry fellow and adventurer Russell. In short, if there is a person on this planet who can help us deal with our problems, it is he, Dr. Huff!
