Nick and Evie are two desperately in love teenagers. Their love has no voice or sound because they are both deaf-mute. Heroes have their own ways of communicating, and apart from the fact that love already distances them from the rest of the world, their silent isolation makes alienation absolute. When the characters realize that their parents are not too eager to see them together, they have an audacious plan: to escape and hide in a safe place where Evie will become pregnant and have a child – they are convinced that after that no one will be able to separate them. Nick takes the initiative and takes Evie to an abandoned submarine.
