The apparent well-being of a police officer nicknamed Oper collapses in the blink of an eye - one fine day he loses his loving wife, a wonderful mistress, and an interesting job... For many years in a row, Oper has been dreaming of catching Hunchback, the main gangster “authority” of the city. Finally, the investigator gets his hands on a thread leading directly to the criminal: Denis, Gorbaty’s henchman, gives away the address of his boss. Based on a tip received, Oper single-handedly arrests the bandit. However, unexpectedly, Angelica, Opera's former lover, volunteers to be Gorbaty's personal lawyer. From this moment on, Opera's usual life goes to hell - terrible and inexplicable events occur one after another. First, his wife Marina receives photographs compromising her husband by email, then she dies at the hands of an unknown person. After some time, Denis, who “surrendered” Gorbaty, is also found dead.
