Circle of Friends

Based on the novel by Mavy Binchy, the film begins in Ireland in 1949 and moves to 1957. We meet three friends and get to know them through the perception, mainly, of one of them, a large, ugly, but extraordinary girl, Benny, with a lively mind and a large bust. She likes a handsome young guy, Jack, from their same college, and he finds it easy and easy to be with her. He himself admits that he can talk to her about things that he could never talk about with anyone else. Her beautiful friend became pregnant, and when her lover left her with money for an abortion, she seduced Jack by announcing that the child was his.
