Forest Guard

Vasily Klintsov, a young retired captain and huntsman, lives in a hunting lodge on the outskirts of a protected forest. A respectable German “money bag” comes to a small neighboring town to hunt together with the regional governor. Boar hunting is a serious and dangerous matter. As luck would have it, a particularly dangerous prisoner had just escaped from a colony located in this area. But the stake for officials is too high: the burgher is ready to invest his money in several large projects at once. And in the hope that nothing terrible will happen, everyone sets off towards danger. Suddenly, the trace of the fugitive is discovered very close: first the livestock specialist disappears, followed by the doctor of the district hospital. At a forest boar feeding trough, the huntsman stumbles upon traces of a bloody struggle. But the hunt cannot be canceled, because a lot of money can float away with the disappointed German...
