Gilda

Clever swindler Johnny Farrell is saved from death by the mysterious Balin Mundson, the owner of a large casino. Johnny becomes his right-hand man, but the friendship that has arisen between them begins to fall apart at the seams when Balin, after another absence, returns to the city with his young wife Gilda. Everything suggests that Gilda and Johnny were previously lovers, but now their feelings are more reminiscent of mutual hatred. Everything changes when, after being shot at the casino, Balin disappears without a trace and, as it seems to everyone, to a place from which no one returns...
