I Served the King of England

The story of the rise and fall of one Prague waiter's career in the first half of the twentieth century. An ambitious young man goes from being a waiter in a hotel in a small Czech border town to a huge hotel in the center of Prague, and even receives an award from the Emperor of Abyssinia. But the waiter's career really took off after the capture of Czechoslovakia by German troops.
