Identification

Orphan Valeria works as a saleswoman at a clothing market in Moscow. Having fallen in love with Aman, she converts to Islam and becomes part of the diaspora. At the wedding, Bakir, Aman's brother, tries to rape the girl, but she manages to escape. Soon the mutilated corpse of Bakir is discovered, all suspicion falls on Valeria. Only the young lawyer Daniil Kramer and the world-weary investigator Grigory Plakhov believe in her innocence.
