Muscovite Andrei Kotelnikov works as a security guard in a jewelry store and is going to resume his interrupted studies at a medical university. Unexpectedly, an army friend comes to visit him from Siberia. Having extracted information from Andrei about his work schedule and the collection system of the jewelry store, the Siberian organizes a robbery, provides himself with an alibi and arranges everything in such a way that Andrei becomes the main suspect in this case. Driven into a corner, Andrei escapes from custody and, in the company of the thief Yana, goes to Siberia in the hope of regaining his good name...
