Free the Nipple

Free the Nipple is the name of a film and an international movement for women's rights. Today, exposing the breast – including for breastfeeding an infant – is prohibited in 35 American states. In Louisiana, an exposed nipple can lead to imprisonment for up to three years and a fine of $2,500. Even in New York, where going topless was legalized in 1992, police continue to arrest women, according to the movement's website. The movement fights 'inequality through film, social media, and grassroots campaigns'.
