Play Motel

A transparent mirror in one of the Play Motel rooms is a way to obtain compromising photographs of rich perverts, with the aim of further blackmailing the sensualists. The wife of the publisher Quadrifolio, having accidentally discovered racy photographs in her husband's possession with which unknown people were blackmailing him, went to the Play Motel to investigate and was killed there. The attackers hid her body in the trunk of an unsuspecting couple's car. When the body was discovered, the police commissioner did not accuse the mediocre actor and his wife of murder, but invited them to participate in the investigation: first as unsuspicious observers, and then as decoys.
