Black room. Enclosed space. The action unfolds as if slowly. You understand that every word, every gesture of the characters has a special, secret, as yet completely incomprehensible meaning. But you feel: you can’t miss a single nuance. Each short story has two or three heroes. There is real drama between them, which ends with an explosion. Sometimes figuratively, and sometimes literally. Time is continuous: there is no yesterday and tomorrow. Only today and now. Sometimes the action takes place on the verge of fantasy and reality. And often fantasies are much more realistic than real life. A black room, or, as theatergoers also say, a black office, is a space in which nothing is visible until the lights are turned on. Imagine: people in black velvet are moving against a black background. No, these are not horror films. It's a little scary in places, of course. But this is only from overstrain, from waiting for how the situation will be resolved in each story.
